Volunteer Explainer

- Volunteering as an Explainer: Welcoming visitors to a Bronze Age Roundhouse reconstruction being built at English Heritage's Beeston Castle site. - Responsibilities included welcoming visitors of all ages and backgrounds to the site and introducing them to the history of the site and the experimental archaeology ethos underlying the project. - This required an in-depth knowledge of the local area and its relation to Beeston as well as strong interpersonal skills.
