Volunteer webpages redesign

The Digital Product Team joined forces with the Digital Content & Experiences Team to rejuvenate the volunteering webpages on the BHF website. This makeover was not only to showcase the BHF's new visual identity following a brand refresh, but also to make the pages more user-friendly. By using user-insight provided from SessionCam, Google Analytics and in-browser surveys, we identified ways to streamline this section of the website and make popular information easier to find.

This included things like removing a step from the user-journey and surfacing 'Benefits of Volunteering' alongside the 'Types' of volunteering, and ordering these 'Types' based on popularity and the number of opportunities available.
We also removed pages that were not popular with users, therefore making it less confusing to navigate through this section of the website.
