Hackney based charity youth charity Project Indigo and Hackney Museum commissioned a documentary for their official LGBT history month exhibition which would feature the work of the young LGBTQIA+ community and represent the issues they experience in London in 2018.
The resulting film is currently installed in 'From Bedroom to Battleground' until May 5th and was also screened to a large audience at Hackney Town Hall for the closing celebrations of Hackney's LGBT history month 2018 in London. The mayor of Hackney gave a speech and London's night czar Amy Lame was in attendance
Peckham Levels featured the film and exhibition on their website as part of their regular features on the work and projects of the Peckham Levels community.
The film features the stories of the young members of Project Indigo, who bravely spoke about receiving discrimination, abuse and predjudice as a result of their LGBT status.
The film was comissioned by Susy Langsdale and also features artist Liv Wynter
