What is PrEP

Positive East has been at the forefront of HIV service and care for three decades; supporting people from point of HIV diagnosis to longer term care. We were delighted to create the short animation to help spread awareness about PrEP, a pill that helps in the prevention of acquiring HIV by 99%. The animation’s primary focus is to encourage the access of this free medication, available on the NHS, which is targeted towards Black Africans/ Caribbean women. To help minimise the stigma of HIV and to empower women to take control of their sexual health. Design, animation by @dondadastudio
