Why Are We Not Here

Role: Curator Commissioned by Rising Arts Agency and Testspace at Spike Island to co-curate an exhibition that was triggered by the Multiverse Summit, art critics, The White Pube who delivered a hard hitting provocation to all artist-led spaces within the UK, challenging their complacency and unacknowledged racial bias. Urging artist-led spaces to tackle institutional racism and the lack of presence of people of colour within the arts at all levels. This was launched at Spike Islands Open Studios which hists over 6000 guests on May bank holiday weekend.
