Wom is a experiential temporary space that wraps you inside a reflexive atmosphere to rest and grow.
It is based in two concepts that become one: Sacred Geometry and the Uterus.
Wom is an itinerant project.
Its first location is planned to be at Boom Festival, in Portugal. This a psychedelic festival that works making a transformative experience for everyone who goes.
It could be placed anywhere to create an oasis of calm to refuge from the frenetic rythms of the world.
Concept: Sacred Geometry and Uterus
The Sacred Geometry try to explain the universe, how everything is linked by the same structures, maths and geometries.
The Vesica Piscis is the figure that gives origin to all the sacred geometries. It has many interpretations like the dualities of female spiritues and male spiritues, the mind and body creating the soul, the belly of the goddess mother or the womb of creation. Is the most important figure on the project and its meanings link it with the concept of Uterus.
Basics: Geomtries, Zones and flows
From the geometry to every inch of the space is made based on both concepts. Even the distribution or names of the space are according to it.

Aproximation to wom: Distribution and entry
The central main space is divided in two nucleus. Gestation nucleus and Transmision nucleus. The first one is more like a pasive area, to open ears and feelings, to listen calmly and the second one, more dinamic, where the dialogue is created. At both sides of the main space you can find two small rooms to dedicate to yourself, the Maduration Folicles. More like a self dedication room to medidate, renovate and rest.
Gestation Nucleus
Made to acquire a calm attitude, to listen the talks or performances, rest and watch.
The Wom Experience: Gestation Nucleus
This nucleus wrap the user in a pasive atmosphere to listen and enjoy the space. The center piece of the space works as a stage for talks, performances or workshops but also to lye down on it when there aren't activities. The drop shape over it creates the stage zone, is the vortex of the space, just in the center. Divides de two principal zones make an acoustic and visual barrier. It also covers the origin of the fabric walls and optic fiber lighting behing them.
Maduration Folicles
The floor is made of stuffed fabric bags where your feet sinks in and the walls are made of three layers in which loads of balloons are squeezed in creating a visceral texture. In the center you can lye down on the bean bags. Aromatic mist diffusors helps creating a humid and fresh enviroment.

This small rooms at both sides of the main space are individual thinking rooms. The geodesic structure contains the space, based in the Icosahedron, coming back to the Sacred Geometry, it is said that this shape improves and created a conexion with other dimensions.
Transmision Nucleus
The stools help making a dinamic situation avoinding people to stay still. The Corian bar is the center of this nucleus and the stage element works also as a non-sitting resting area.

Coming back to the main room, the second nucleus is a more active one, a space to talk, discuss and generate ideas or projects; obviously it works around a bar.
