  • Nga Le Pham
BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear - Year 1 (2016)

Combining elements from Tim Burton’s quirky yet intriguing universe and World War II fashionnn, the project explores innovative ways of recycling old clothes and creating new garments.

The group project was part of the H&M x LCF Design for Sustainability Competition. My group was selected as one of 8 groups, whose collection was showcased at H&M stores around London during Fall-Winter 2016 fashion week. My group’s collection was one off the two which were displayed in a special gallery at the H&M flagship store at Oxford Circus. Each member of the group had to contribue two outfits to form a collection of six to eight looks, alongside personal design and technical portfolios.
More information about the partnership between H&M and LCF can be found here: http://sustainable-fashion.com/blog/hm-x-lcf-something-new/
My outfits were also featured in a short film about sustainabiliyt, Art to Artillery, produced by CSM students for LVMH x Nowness channel. Link: https://www.nowness.com/series/luxury-x-sustainability/art-to-artillery-central-saint-martins
