Writing for TANK

While at TANK, I wrote about the work of a variety of photographers including Viviane Sassen, Constantin Schlachter, Sergiy Barchuk and Jason Fulford. I interviewed Jason Fulford about his photobook, The Medium is a Mess. The photobook documents an experimental form of education called the Reggio Approach, used in the area around Reggio Emilia, Northern Italy. The approach focuses on children aged five to eleven and stresses their potential for self-discovery and growth. Here, art is used as a tool for development.
