Your Body Hair

  • Katie Linton

Keep it? Groom it? Get Rid of it? The acceptance of body hair has become controversial between the genders. Society has the perception that women should remove their body hair to feel and look more attractive, while men should keep their body hair to feel more manly and appealing. However, who’s to say you should or shouldn’t remove it. This campaign embraces society’s differences in order to normalise everyone’s preferences, whether thats their choice to keep it, groom it or get rid of it. The campaign is paired with Superdrug, an English drug store that supports every preference and wants to help their customers feel confident, attractive and themselves, no matter what. The campaign uses relatable statements about all preferences of body hair from members of society (inclusive of all ages, genders and ethnicities.) The anonymous statements, aim to break the gender barriers surrounding body hair and encourages the audience to feel confident, attractive and themselves no matter what their preference.
