I’m a London-based Danish art director with 6 years experience in executing art direction and graphic design for print and digital as well as art directing and concepting for video and fashion photography. Sectors I have experience working across a variety of sectors, but I am particularly passionate about the Fashion, Luxury and Culture industries. Brands I have had the pleasure of working with count among others Vestiaire Collective, L’Officiel, Bon Magazine, Harpers Bazaar, Victorinox, Rimmel, Fortnum & Mason, BBC StoryWorks, InterContinental, Coca Cola, Hendrick’s Gin, and Air Asia. Whether I work as a part of a team or on my own, I feel comfortable doing both. Hands on and brains on, I love creating work that is simple and thoughtful with a story and big idea behind. Though happily freelancing, I’m always keen to hear about exciting full-time opportunities too.Locked Pro Plan feature
My work as a freelancer is split between designing and art directing across different fields; ranging from art directing fashion editorials and branded videos, to creating print and digital design across various forms; from branding to layouts to web design and more. I have art directed fashion editorials for Bon Magazine, L’Officiel and Harpers Bazaar where I closely collaborate with photographers as well as other key players to create and bring the concepts to life both prior, during and after the shoot. Some of my most recent accomplishments include creating pitch-winning creative video concepts for BBC StoryWorks x Raffles Singapore and again BBC StoryWorks x Dubai’s Board of Tourism and most recently for Air Asia, all of which have yet to go into production. I work with studios and agencies (OMD Create, JWT, Harriman Steel, Otherway, Jack Wills and The Smalls to name a few) as well as my own clients (Vestiaire Collective, Galeries Du Diamant and The Smalls Film Festival). Brands I have worked with count among others Vestiaire Collective, Jack Wills, Burton Menswear, Victorinox, Farer, Fortnum & Mason, BBC StoryWorks, InterContinental Hotels, eBay, YouTube and Air Asia.
In extension to a freelance stint at OMD Create, I was offered a short-term contract with OMD Create as an art director, where I collaborated with and oversaw a team of creatives. The campaign work at OMD is social content focused, which has allowed me to gain great insight to the strategy and workings of creative in a social media context. My two main accounts were Walkers and Starbucks for whom I’ve art directed video as well as photography.
Working in a creative team with a copywriter providing creative concepts, design and art direction for branded content and advertising for brands such as Vestiaire Collective, Rimmel, and InterContinental. We worked for agencies such as DRUM and JWT, as well as directly with our own clients. One of these counted e-commerce luxury fashion site Vestiaire Collective for whom we created their first ever TVC, which I conceptualised, co-scripted and art directed and partly produced. Freelancing for JWT we also concepted a brand film for InterContinental which became the core of their big social media campaign Secrets of the City in Europe and the US.
Devilfish Creative had a small creative team, and here I really learned to be flexible and work across various disciplines due to the size of the team. I was involved in concept and ideation, scriptwriting as well as designing. Clients counted BBC, HBO, Lifetime, DMAX, Canal+ and A&E Networks. Highlights from my time there I consider to be a pitch we won to create an internal print campaign for the BBC about data security which I art directed and designed, as well as working as the lead art director and designer for sock fashion start-up Tack Socks.
At Ogilvy Istanbul I was interning as a conceptual creative and worked on ideas for various of their clients such as Efes, Pizzahut, Coca Cola and Ford. Coca Cola bought one of my campaign ideas for a mockumentary style cinema advert featuring the made-up Coca Cola Laughter Club.
