MAC Cosmetics – WhatsYourThing#WhatsYourThing Everyone has a ‘thing’ that makes them ‘them’. A certain thing they do that underlines their individuality, whether it's the way they move, laugh, dance… a tattoo. That ‘thing’ includes beauty, too: One person may like a bold lip, for another, it’s all about skin. With ‘What’s Your Thing?’ we celebrate the individuality and self expression of Britain in all its eclectic glory, and dramatise how M.A.C helps people achieve that ‘thing’ with its iconic products. NYFWTHE CHALLENGE Reinvent how catwalk shows can be presented, captured and distributed as content in the 21st century. THE IDEA Luxury quality content capture that was socialised and combined with UGC, curated and distributed before, during and after the catwalk event. THE EXECUTION Utilising state of the art technology within the 10,000 square metre landmark building that is Spring TriBeCa during New York fashion week, hosting Calvin Klein, Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors and Opening Ceremony catwalk events. Multi-camera content capture combined with live social activation and bespoke mobile apps allowing real time interaction from front to back rows, as well as opening up the exclusive world of catwalk shows to be accessible and interactive in real time for those not lucky enough to be invited. THE RESULTS "The shows at Spring TriBeCa were arguably, the week’s biggest draw on social media – offering the kind of unique video and photogenic qualities that were built for visual sharing on Instagram." dailymail.co.uk
