Hello, I'm Jo. I grew up in sunny Singapore and did my A levels and BA in gloomy UK. I have had work experiences in London, Shanghai and Singapore. A curious learner and designer, I love to find out how things function and what makes people tick.

- Land LockedSandwiched between China and Russia, Mongolia is a landlocked country with a population of 3 million, home to a large nomadic community and the Gobi Desert. The dusty capital city, Ulaanbaatar, is surrounded by mountains and is home to 45% of Mongolia's population. The remaining population is scattered around the country, which is approximately 4 times larger than Germany. - The Unboxing ExperienceBRIEF: A research project about an area in the creative and communications industry you are interested in. After conducting in-depth analysis, produce your findings in a well-designed visual summary. I chose to do this research project on the issue of sustainability within the unboxing experience, focusing on the cosmetic industry. - TYPE TRIBUTEBRIEF: Given a single typeface and title, form a tribute band and find out all there is to know about its history, use and context and understanding of the typeface’s anatomical details. Working in a group for our research, we came up with a name for our band and used the title (‘Postscript’) given to us as the name for the album. We then each produced our own outcomes: • A 12 inch vinyl LP package • A coordinated cassette package
- MARMALADEBRIEF: Develop and design a brand/brand campaign and deliver a range of well-finished, branded elements. For this project, I created and designed an ethical and sustainable cosmetic brand called 'Marmalade'.
