About me
I am an award-winning digital marketing specialist with over 9 years' experience in the music industry and a track record of delivering creative, high-impact strategies to foster audience growth and commercial performance for both emerging acts and major artists such as Adele, Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris and Camila Cabello.
I enjoy nurturing talent and sharing my expertise and regularly speak at universities, schools and industry events (Google, University of Westminster, BIMM...). I have also received training in mentoring and inclusive leadership via Creative Mentor Network.
I believe emotionally intelligent leadership is the new frontier for the music business, and I champion this in my day to day.
I am an out-of-the-box thinker with a forward-thinking approach to campaign strategy, a keen awareness of digital news and trends and an intimate understanding of the music industry, which I have also navigated as a DJ, music journalist and artist manager.
I am currently working as a freelance digital marketing consultant; services I offer include strategy building, creative ideation, channels audit and best practices sessions. - Adele '30' Album Campaign (2021)Working on such a poignant album was a definite career highlight, and its record-breaking trajectory in the UK as the best-selling album of 2021 was the cherry on top. The UK campaign was a mammoth team effort to deliver on the sky-high expectations, starting from the early brainstorms to plan the '30' projections that teased Adele’s return and broke the internet, and culminating in a Music Award for best Artist Marketing Campaign. - L Devine - URL Tour (2020)In March 2020, as the first lockdown came into force, L Devine's upcoming tour with Fletcher was cancelled. Her manager Teresa Raeburn, social media manager Robyn Elton from agency CYOA and myself immediately put our heads together to think up an alternative and the URL Tour was born. For a week, L Devine "toured" her social media channels, live-streaming five unique shows on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube. - Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia Treasure Hunt (2021)In March 2021 Dua Lipa's career-defining album 'Future Nostalgia' turned 1. We wanted to create a celebratory moment for her fanbase and engage them in a creative way, while boosting CRM and streaming metrics. I came up with the idea of a week-long online treasure hunt, with a daily giveaway to be unlocked by a mystery word. The campaign had fans searching for clues all over the artist’s channels, from letters on the album’s Spotify Canvas to words in YouTube descriptions or a game of connect-
- Dua Lipa - Website Relaunch (2019)In 2019 I coordinated the relaunch of dualipa.com, handling all steps of the process including: - brainstorming styles, colours and layouts with Dua’s team; - briefing out and presenting design options and wireframes; - commissioning developers; - devising a system to brief updates and track workflow going forward; - coordinating technical aspects e.g. GDPR implementation and pixel tracking; - handling budget conversations; - ensuring highest standard of delivery using testing and QA processes.
- Dua Lipa - Dualiveries 2017Global fan activation for Dua Lipa consisting of an interactive Advent calendar revealing daily prize draws. I play regular sets at Sketch, Sexy Fish and Annabel’s in London and I have brought my uplifting tunes to parties around the world, from Paris Fashion Week to the beaches of Zanzibar.
Over the last decade I have DJed for brands including Fiorucci, Diesel and ASOS and am regularly enlisted to play at music industry parties including Harry Styles Love On Tour at Wembley Stadium and An Audience With Adele at The Langham.
