I am an imaginative designer; who has an affection for telling a story visually through the use of fabric and intricate attention to detail. Full of ideas, I flourish in creating new ways of telling a story visually; delivering a modern aesthetic through the use of innovative design, digital layout and trend lead research. I possesses a zeitgeist approach to every project.
University and industry experience have allowed me to develop sharp skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Having exhibited my graduate collection at national showcase, Graduate Fashion Week 2020, I have a wide understanding of how building and creating a collection works, and would love to develop further in this industry.

- 'PREPARED' (Pre-submission) - 2020 GRADUATE COLLECTIONMy 2020 Graduate Collection after the first deadline, so there is still a lot to be done! My final collection is designed for the ‘Woman who always has to be prepared for everything’, a response to today’s turbulent and unpredictable world. It has evolved to become an extension of my own feelings and reactions to my experience in today’s world. - YEAR 3000The last project of Second year and part of a brief with Adidas. The theme of the brief was 'Biomimicry', the process of design mimicing natural processes found in nature. I did so much early research for this project on different natural processes and instances of biomimicry in nature trying to find one that spoke to me and sparked ideas, but it wasnt until I had looked into so many that I finally found the direction I wanted to take this project. - SENSE OF PLACE - Wool Coat ProjectSecond Year project. This was an extension of our previous Denim project, we had to reinterpret our existing research from the denim module as a staring point. The two main themes from the previous module for me were the English South Coast and Impressionist artwork. So to use this research in response to Wool I used fabric with multiple colours and patterns woven into it like houndstooth and check to mimic the impressionist painting textures, and I used colours inspired by the South West Coast.
- COASTAL DENIM - HIUT Denim BriefThis was our first project in my Second year at University. We were working with the Welsh Denim brand HIUT Denim to create a capsule collection for them. I had spent all sumemr sampling and experimenting with denim and just playing around with what felt natural to me. - Technological OVERKILL - British Fur Trade Competition EntryThis was my submission to the British Fur Trade annual design competition. I put it together at a point in my life where I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the presence of technology in my day to day interactions. It was bgeinning to feel that there was not one part of my day that I could not achieve without the use of technology or the internet, and that thought actually scared me! - ORDINARY/EXTRA-ORDINARYOur final project in my first year of University. The brief for the project was to take 2 objects off of a list of everyday household items and have them be the inspiration for the collection. I chose a hairclip and a torch, two very different looking and functioning objects. This project required a lot of observational drawing and studies of the objects in order to extract as much information from them as possible.
