Hey!
I hope you are well during the pandemic and looking after ourselves.
I would like to invite you to an online meet-up focusing on freelance visuals artists to have a yearly career review.
Since the majority of the attendees would presumably be self-employed -myself included- we don’t get the luxury of a yearly career review. Whilst there’s plenty of information online on how to grow and evolve, there are still times of uncertainty, insecurity and the most detrimental to me is isolation and the feeling of not belonging in a team. Especially during the Corona Pandemic, now is the time to come together and create a strong community.
As a part of the event, I would like to invite creatives in their early to mid-stages of their careers and discuss our experiences, express our problems and how we could evolve. The topics will range from networking, budget & finances, dealing with clientele and monitoring mental health.
It is important for creatives to not only excel as radical creatives but also be smart and business-oriented. Creatives need to stand their ground, unite and understand they provide valuable elements to an exceptionally profitable industry.
Hopefully, this event would be impactful in the community of creatives and will provide personal and professional growth.
