About This Workshop
Are you interested in producing more professional videos on your iPhone or smartphone? This introductory class is designed to give producers the right tools to record great mobile content. The class will provide an in-depth look at the media capabilities of iPhone and smartphones. Additionally, the class will cover the basics of storytelling, interviewing and composition.

Video content can greatly enhance any brand or businesses marketing efforts. This class is ideal for want to create engaging mobile video content.

Mobile editing techniques Please note that this is a beginner class, however, some intermediate concepts will be covered which will appeal to existing video makers. No experience creating video on a smart phone/iPhone is required although some familiarity will be beneficial.

Please bring an iPhone, smartphone or modern tablet capable of recording video

  • This class is taken completely online via Zoom.
  • Class set up information will be emailed on the day of the class.
  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • All communication will be sent to the email used to purchase a ticket. If you have signed up on behalf of a friend or colleague, please forward along this information. NOTE: this session will not be recorded, however, slides will be sent within 7 days following the class. Participants are also encouraged to download and save any shared materials during class for later reference.

Nigel Camp
Founder, DevilBoy Productions

After working in the corporate world, Nigel Camp decided to follow his passion and founded DevilBoy Productions, an independent film production company, and The Drone Dude which offers aerial filmography and photographic services. Nigel is also author of The Video Effect which teaches brands how to use video to market themselves effectively. His blog is available at thevideoeffect.tv

Nigel has filmed throughout the UK and countries including Kenya, Botswana, Mexico, Jamaica, Spain and Croatia. Prior to working in the film sector, Nigel worked for 10 years in the telecommunications software industry managing software product roadmaps.
