Position Summary
This role will be focused on handling all aspects of branded execution in the independents channel and supporting the Senior Retail Marketing Manager (across all elements of the retail business). The Junior Retail Marketing Manager role would suit candidates who are enthusiastic and passionate about new technology, who understand the operational tasks required of a Retail team and have an operational, project management or marketing background. An ambitious and exciting role where there is excellent opportunity for progression.
Role and Responsibilities
Coordinate the planning and rollout of new retail displays, point of sale (POS) marketing and promotional messaging in independents stores, Richer Sounds and Costco.
Handling the up-keep, snagging/maintenance and health and safety issues of branded displays throughout the year.
Supporting the SRMM in the rolling out of POS and new displays ensuring delivery on time, on budget and aligned with internal strategy.

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills;
  • Experience in Project Management or Marketing
  • Strong IT & also Excel skills with knowledge of how to analyse data and create reports to show results
  • Excellent eye for detail; can identify trends and patterns of information and can communicate findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to see issues before they arise and plan for contingency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships (influence and negotiating)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills for varying presentation types (Sell-in, Communication, Project Planning)
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Eager to tackle challenges and change with limited information
  • Adhere to company and client policies and procedures
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own time efficiently and effectively
  • The desire to build collaborative relationships internally and with our external retailers;
Skills and Qualifications
What does success look like?
  • Develop and execute retail-marketing strategies that align with business goals and each retailer objectives.
  • Collaboratively work with sales teams to develop award-winning branded retail concepts and merchandising solutions for our retail partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key retailers, vendors, and agencies. Attend and present at key meetings (such as JBP’s) leading on retail-related projects.
  • Develop and manage branded TVAV ranging, including product selection, branded fixture placement and promotions.
  • Manage the creation and execution of retail marketing fixtures, including POS, content, in-store promotions, and events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency across all retail touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyse retail sales performance data, making data-driven decisions to optimise future retail investment efforts.
  • Manage and oversee a retail marketing budget, ensuring all spending is allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Working closely with the Account Management, Product, Maintenance, Service and H&S teams to resolve in-store issues only escalating where required.
  • Create retail display agreements for the store space across specific accounts, managing audits to ensure space agreements are adhered to and report the necessary display deductions to the sales teams.
  • Prepare and position VIP stores to ensure excellence of execution. Manage VIP requests and provide guidance to ensure store maintains compliance.
  • Brief and manage all retail elements of the CIH show and other Independent retail shows. From planning to execution to post event reporting.
