We are hiring for a Principal Consultant as part of dentsu D2D in London.
Purpose of the Role
The Principal Consultant role within Dentsu serves a crucial purpose in advancing our vision of offering a world-class marketing effectiveness proposition on a global scale. The Principal Consultant role sits within the Dentsu Data2Decisions (D2D) team and reports into the Managing Consultant. This role collaborates closely with measurement experts, clients, and internal stakeholders across Dentsu Aegis to deliver market-leading analytics and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leading measurement projects and develop key accounts.
  • Ensuring quality control output and perform statistical modelling.
  • Integrating research insights from various sources to build compelling insight stories.
  • Training, mentoring, and supporting analysts in developing modelling expertise.
  • Specialising in a particular industry vertical and collaborate with sector experts.
  • Translating analytics results into actionable recommendations.
  • Supporting new business efforts to generate revenue, including identifying opportunities, writing proposals, and participating in pitches.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Dentsu D2D, building a strong reputation in the industry.
  • One-off: Supporting new business efforts and involvement in pitches.
  • Day-to-day: Leading marketing measurement projects, ensuring quality control output, mentoring analysts, and integrating research insights.
  • Dependent: Developing industry expertise, translating analytics results into actionable recommendations, and acting as an ambassador for Dentsu D2D rely on factors such as client needs, market dynamics, and organizational goals.
This is an opportunity to lead high-impact measurement projects and work with key accounts, specialising in a specific industry vertical allowing for in-depth expertise development. The successful candidate will be engaging in new business efforts, providing exposure to revenue generation activities. This is an Ambassadorial role, fostering connections and building reputation within and outside the organisation.
Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in statistical modelling techniques such as Market Mix Modelling.
  • Experience in integrating and analysing data from various sources to derive actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and competitive strategy.
  • Desirable - Advanced data analysis skills using tools like R, Python, or SAS.
  • 4 years plus in MMM with strong project leadership skills to guide and mentor analysts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with sector experts and clients.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset to address complex business challenges.
  • Adaptability to navigate evolving industry landscapes and client needs.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to drive revenue generation efforts.
  • Relationship-building skills to foster connections and represent Dentsu D2D as an ambassador in the industry.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities to communicate complex insights effectively.
