JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is looking for an experienced Project Manager with Finance system delivery experience to manage and deliver projects for the IT Finance space. They will lead across a complex global environment, with a focus on compliance related deliveries. The Project manager will ensure delivery balancing time, cost and quality while maintaining excellent stakeholder management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Orchestrate the delivery of solution designs, development, functional and user acceptance testing, cutovers as well as transition to support of various projects - working closely with Business Analyst, Architect and vendors both on-site and remote.
  • Manage project planning and track milestones for delivery
  • Manage project financials including estimates, budgets and forecasts across Opex and Capex.
  • Proactivity manage a complex project stakeholder environment up to VP level across multiple internal functions and locations.
  • Lead resources within project team and across a supplier landscape globally.
  • Ensure compliance to internal governance and controls
  • Close projects and conduct lessons learned sessions to capture and document the knowledge and ensure its availability to other programme and project managers.
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Experience in project management, ideally with Finance systems
  • Excellent knowledge and working experience across project governance methodologies with strong approach to governance and project documentation
  • Proven leadership, with the ability to prioritise activities and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Experience working with offshore teams and agencies
  • Ability to take a holistic view of the business case, using this to guide project execution, and understanding of the broader context of decisions.
