A bit more about me

  • Danny Evans

A compilation of photography, graphical design, song lyrics and original poetry. Please note that a lot of the poetry below was written as a therapeutic tool to help alleviate stress and mental health issues that I have since overcome. I consider myself a fun, happy and positive person that always excels when working in a creative format. I love writing poetry/lyrics and I find utter joy in bringing different fragments of thoughts and ideas into creation.

To angry people with angry stares, angry talk, angry thought, oh I just dont care, don't hurt eachother.

To every boy and every girl, to every race and every place, we need to not be scared to love one another.
Take me to the City,
let me learn your name,
I wanna walk these streets with you,
gonna get soaked,
in the evening rain,
wet clothes won't dampen your glow.

Take me away,
nothing can,
take me away,
nothing can,
take me away,
from you.

Lets walk in the street lights,
I'm in love with you,
you've watched me grow,
the city I call home.

and enrich me. I sit saturated posing sublime beauty, soaking like a sponge all that was once pretty and turning it ugly. Rough and thorned is my underbelly. I the primrose sown upside down red and angry. Something beautiful could have been made of me.
Stop the line. The factory line. The day in day out line. The hang out to dry line.

I hate the night.
It's an eerie violation.
A dank space where thoughts lay awake in trepidation.

This ghoulish black has me imprisoned.
Rapidly I seek rehabilitation for I fear of a life sentence.
