A Tower Block in Ladbroke Grove

Originally created as part of Open City Film Festival's 2019 Summer School A Tower Block in Ladbroke Grove explores the 2017 Grenfell Tower Fire in London’s Ladbroke Grove from my perspective as someone who grew up in the tower block opposite it; Whitstable House. Through the story of the my childhood and my family's personal experiences, the film looks at some of the issues surrounding social housing in the UK that may have contributed to the disaster, while exploring the community response in the face of the tragedy
