Amazon Operations

Devising back-to-back campaigns to attract new talent to its Operations teams across several markets. Since 2021, Rhapsody has been working with Amazon on campaigns for the multinational tech company’s Operations division. We have been tasked with creating communication and marketing assets designed to recruit talent.

When we first started working with Amazon, they were looking for an agency that was able to take their next campaign to a new level. They wanted us to produce a creative concept that would engage with potential candidates with the end goal of raising awareness, driving applications as well as generating a more diverse talent pool. Our mission was to make these assets engaging and aspirational.
Rhapsody looked at Amazon’s previous projects and decided to tear up the rulebook. We pitched a campaign idea that was unlike what they had done before: we put forward a new way of delivering their message in the aim of being more inspiring to the target audience. The campaign had to speak to potential candidates, both in terms of copy and on a visual level.
Rhapsody therefore commissioned renowned illustrator Dan Matutina (@twistedfork) to create visuals that were defined by his futuristic style. Since the campaign needed to encompass four separate roles – interns, pathways, graduates and apprenticeships – we based it around various relatable scenarios that gave a clear idea of the roles available to candidates. We then translated the copy into eight languages for different markets, namely Germany, Spain, CEE, the UK, France, Italy and Luxembourg.
