Bespoke trays designed in collaboration with amie wine studio in Eccleston Yards, Belgravia. Handpainted and fired by Sasha in her London studio. Once both sides were happy with the concept sketches, Sasha created tests to check the mixed glazing colours were correct. After a few attempts the colours were just right. She then built up layers of glazes, hand painting and firing over 10 trays in her kiln, that were then sent to amie. It was important that the design was playful, expressive and on brand for both Sasha and amie. ABOUT AMIE amie [a-mee] noun, French | a female friend. Dreamt up during the Covid-19 lockdown, amie is a French wine created for friends, by friends. Will Sandbach and Abbie Roden thought up amie together during the Covid-19 lockdown, when they recognised an opportunity to tap into the rosé market with a cool and affordable direct-to-consumer wine brand with delivery to your door. The amie wines are produced in the south of France, in a region called the Languedoc. The wines are made in collaboration with producers Will and his family have worked with for several years. For every order on drinkamie.com, £1 is donated to charity: water. 'amie wine studio is a space for friends to come together for a glass of amie, and to enjoy the beautiful integration of wine and art. In partnership with Partnership Editions, amie wine studio also serves as a gallery, where guests can buy art from some of today’s most exciting emerging artists.' The logo and label design was designed by artist and friend of the couple, Jessica Yolanda Kaye.
