In September 2022 I traveled with Amir Khans team to Pakistan to document the relief efforts.
The story starts at the international import terminal where the Amir Khan Foundation (AKF) have shipped over 20 Tons of AID for people effected by the flooding.

Rural Nowshera
The following day we traveled to an area just outside Nowshera. This area was very badly effected by the flooding and the flood water was still laying un-drained some 10 days after the initial floods.

As the sun set we arrived at the small village of Nawe Kili, another badly effected area surrounding Nowshera.

Siraja
It was here that we spoke with Siraja, a 67 year old widow. Siraja managed to evacuate the village just before the flooding hit. She told us that the flood water reached a height of five and a half foot.
