This project was a test of sorts ran herts propeller (a design agency housed with the creative arts school of the University of Hertfordshire. Working in groups of four we had a week to solve a brief using the design sprint format of creative thinking and so the task we had was to create a new and bold identity system for each of the schools within the University of Hertfordshire. The approach we took was inspired by Michael Bierut's work on the MIT identity system with having a set of rules to create the overall thing, so we came up with our own rules - each logo/marker must be designed within a 'x' sized circle and have the same line thickness, the shape of each marker has been designed to symbolise/represent the schools own identity - some are more abstract than others
