Animation installation

Your Sanctuary for Regeneration (Holly Telfer & Ying Zeng, 2022) is an animated short in the form of a loop, shown to the audience through an installation experience. The piece shows a journey through the birth and regeneration of a mother goddess within her temple. By harking back to goddess worship and historical depictions of femininity, the piece creates an image of the divine feminine as a powerful concept, separate from the unnatural standards perpetuated through the development of the patriarchy. The artwork does so by assimilating a visual patchwork of through research into elements such as Venus Figurines and sacred geometry.
