Art of Sound

Over the years I've developed a deep appreciation for sound and audio. I wanted to post a personal reflection / showcase of my background in audio and sound design; a skill displayed in many instances but something I've never 'shouted about'. I'd love to hear from people who are also interested in different types of audio projects - Do shoot me a message I'd love to hear from you. Here's are some highlights from over the years: 2009 - While I was in college; I took an audio engineer role for a number of live productions; leading the technical facilatation of live bands/ music as well as several theatre productions. 2012 - I was in a bar on a Sunday in Shoreditch, East London, where there was a quiz and some live music going on; the organiser had got themselves into a spot of bother with the technicals, so I offered my help... Shortly after that I was offered more work as a video producer and editor... 2015 - I'd been doing some audio editing on some personal projects; and offered the creative director of a company I was doing some work for services in sound design and audio editing; I ended up working on a number of exciting projects and briefs with clients including: Lloyd's of London, Vero, HTC and KPMG. 2018 - After a few years of video commissioning; I managed to gain some more sound design and audio recording opportunies whilst working with Culture Trip, doing a voice-over for an editorial piece aswell as leading sound design on a handful of other premium animations created by the talented I&A Team. 2021 - I managed to move my skills in sound design and audio editing into the podcasting space. I'm now responsible for producing a weekly podcast for The RSA. Below you'll see a link to 'Elspeth Beard - Riding into History' - A story about the first woman to ride around the world on her motorcycle solo.
