Design and implementation of an effective system that enhances the natural behavior of parrots in captivity for illegal trafficking sancturies .

This investigation aimed to create a system of objects that encourage and enhace the natural comportment of birds lost by humanization, through activities, materials and movements that stimulate it to develop a natural behavior. It aimed to generate a standard of animal welfare to consequently improve the skills of survival of the species, and their overall health condition. That subsequently allows an approximation to a possible release and reintegration to their natural habitat, continuing the natural biological cycle. Each module has 6 different activities and have the capacity to support from 4 to 6 birds. The configuration of the modules depends on the space available and can be set up horizontally or vertically. The module is completely disassembled and their parts are replaceable if damaged.
