The aim of this campaign is promote eyewear brand Bailey Nelson to trendy young professionals without leading with the reasonable price tag. Our direction would focus on collection, due to the price we decided consumers (target audience) could afford more than one pair. We chose butterflies due to their similarities with the product, in that they are unique, symmetrical and beautifully colourful.
The App: By taking photos/collecting butterflies around town you can win Bailey Nelson goodies such as carry cases or frames. The app uses augmented reality to bring the butterflies to life meaning users have to use their device as a net to catch them. Your own personal collection can be uploaded to different social media sites helping to promote the brand as well as the competition.
