Bar La Esquina is a modern take on a 'bar de toda la vida', or a lifelong bar, a place that's popular with locals, where the staff know your name and where you can while away the hours over tapas.
The story behind Bar La Esquina
The identity is a modern play on crosswords and word searches, a regular sight in Barcelona for people who choose to spend time on their own with an ice cold beer.
Named ‘La Esquina’ (meaning ‘The Corner’ in Spanish) for it’s unusual triangular layout, we took that idea further by cutting out the corner of a crossword to create the logo.
