Beyond The Surface
Beyond The Surface is a passion project Kitty Newton and I took on during the 3rd lockdown. Skin cancer is an issue that comes close to both of our hearts. Ignorance is Malignant, Beyond The Surface aims to close the gap in skin cancer survival rates in young and Black people through increased awareness and faster diagnosis.

we encourage our followersto share our posts with their friends and family to help Beyond The Surface drive awareness.
To explain what a melanoma is we will use an analogy, using different fins, to illustrate that moles and melanomas are more than what we can see on the surface of our skin.
DIAGNOSIS
Beyond The Surface leaflets and posters guide you through an entire body check. They explain in detail this signs to look for, where to look and urge you to contact your doctor if you find anything you are worried about.
The skin care range covers your full body. All the products contain SPF to protect from the sun. The range encourages people to become comfortable checking their bodies and become familiar with all your moles so you notice any changes over time.
