Naming, visual identity, website and packaging for Bloc, a Portuguese family run online cheese shop. The name is a play on “a block of cheese” as well as “around the block”, addressing Bloc's ambition of becoming everyone's go-to shop through home deliveries. The visual identity leads with a confident logotype and typographic system set in capital letters. Old style dutch banquet paintings celebrate an epicurean way of living whilst introducing an unexpected contrast reflecting Bloc's attitude and personality – respectful of tradition, yet modernly quirky and forward-thinking. A fresh colour palette sets an effortless and lighthearted tone. Playing with personification, witty copy lines extend a jovial invitation to the world of cheese, encouraging exploration and discovery. Designed with Sateen Panagiotopoulou
