For this project, we formed small groups where we were then given a scenario: "You decide to form a dynamic team with a group of your peers and create a collaborative pop-up show of work that you have individually produced during levels 4 and 5 of the course. You have successfully secured a small amount of funding to support this activity and you have been given an empty shop space to use (for free) for a period of 1 week." The aim was to design and produce a complete visual identity that expertly captures and communicates a theme and purpose for your show, applying our identity professionally across a range of beautifully designed promotional outputs which will include print design, digital content, and environmental graphics. Our visual identity 'zest' aimed to capture our playful and fun nature as a collective, through showcasing work surrounding our three main passions: typography, white space and interactivity. As a group we came up with a clear ethos for our brand: * We are ob_zest with design. *We define the lime between fun a professional. *We believe that when life gives you lemons, you should turn them into ideas. *We inspire fresh thinking. We all brought different skills to the team so therefore delegated jobs depending on our skill set. I worked on our digital outputs which included the website and social media platforms such as instagram, as well as our merchandise and brand guidelines. This helped me build on my UX and UI design skills, as well as develop a greater understanding of promotional material.
