Some stunning modded screenshots of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have seemed online, showing the game's famous Eldin region in a completely new light. Despite Nintendo's persistent copyright strikes, mods for Breath of the Wild continue to course all through fan communities.

Breath of the Wild arrived on the Nintendo Switch with a massive splash thanks - to some extent - to its progressive way to deal with open-world design, simple but satisfying ongoing interaction, and breathtaking craftsmanship style. Nintendo's half breed console is significantly more vulnerable than those offered by its competitors Sony and Microsoft, but Breath of the Wild manages to try not to look modest or sad around the edges thanks to the use of a cel-shaded esthetic and a spectacular lighting system that rejuvenated the world's numerous regions. Because of this more simplified way to deal with graphics, a significant number of the game's areas are brilliantly hued, with a more prominent focus on luminosity and overstated details than realism. While this style is integral to the game's general tone, some well informed fans have figured out how to make the game a touch all the more visually impressive with tweaks like the Breath of the Wild beam tracing mod.

It looks like a similar mod has been downloaded and used by Redditor Waikuteru, as they shared some BOTW screenshots that seem a piece modified. The screenshots are of the Eldin region, a volcanic zone that is home to Death Mountain and the Gorons. Images of the obscured, menacing landscape highlight subjects like separated Guardians and Shrines, with Death Mountain visible in every one of the shots.

While Waikuteru doesn't expressly state that their version of the game has been modded, there is valid justification to accept that that is the case. The Eldin region in vanilla BOTW is certainly hazier and hotter than the rest of the game, but it doesn't look even close as prophetically catastrophic as it does here. Modded or not, these pictures work effectively of highlighting Death Mountain's sense of majesty in BOTW.

As with so numerous other BOTW-related posts, this one will probably make fans think about what this region could have in store once the game's sequel comes around. Much about Breath of the Wild 2 remains obscure (even its official name), but it is affirmed that it will occur in the same version of Hyrule as its predecessor. With the following chapter in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild story bringing with it better graphics and a more mind boggling world, ideally, the Eldin region will much more intrigue.
