The Canadian Game Association, which greatly helped the development of the Canadian gambling industry, has made several new appointments. At its annual general meeting on December 7, 2022, the group announced that it would allocate several new members to its board while preparing to implement a new strategic development plan.

At the General Assembly, the association announced that one of its newly signed members would be Mark Harper. Earlier this year, the Canadian Game Association stepped up efforts against corruption in the industry. This was done by signing a memorandum of understanding with the International Betting Integrity Association. Through this partnership, the association aims to establish a framework with IBIA to protect the Canadian gaming industry.
It should also be noted that CGA's efforts to strengthen Canada's gambling industry have not been noticed. In July, Burns, chairman and CEO, was inducted into SBC's Sports Betting Hall of Fame.
