Character Design

Bee, Happy and Dance are endangered animals / insects who have been created to teach children that no matter what difficult hurdles you have to jump in your life and what insecurities you may have, you can be happy and dance and don't worry what anyone thinks. Bee is a glasses wearing bee, who is a cheeky mischievous insect, from an island off the coast of Scotland. Happy is her friend and a miserable, bandage wearing capercaillie who constantly flies into deer fences and Dance is their puffin friend with extra long legs and who is different from his puffin family and friends. They all dance around to music from Scottish fiddlers. I'd like to develop this project into a series and design more endangered animal characters to animate in their homeland surroundings, in order to teach children about endangered animals around the world, while addressing mental health issues. The soundtracks could be music that represents the country each group of animals belong to.
