Children's Book Illustration

Akanksha Parulekar is a London-based illustrator who has a background in graphic design. Most of the illustrations attached here are a part of her MA Children's Literature: Children's Book Illustration course from Goldsmiths University of London. Her work is versatile, narrative and detail-oriented. She brings out strong colour palettes and includes pop-culture references in most of her personal work. She aims to provide humour and comfort through her work. Having studied BFA in Commercial Arts from Mumbai University she has worked on a variety of projects that range from branding, storyboarding, packaging and online illustrations.
