Christopher Kane x Platform

Platform Issue III: Resilience Launched in summer 2020, Fashion Academics Creating Equality (FACE) work specifically with issues concerning race, colour and ethnicity in Further and Higher Education, acknowledging the contribution of Black and Brown creativity to history, society, and of course fashion. FACE launched PLATFORM last year; a fantastic mentoring program for young creatives aged 16-30 to help position them amongst leading fashion names. Each promising candidate is selected via a creative zine competition, and benefits from informal mentoring, expert presentations and work opportunities with not only Christopher Kane but other FACE connections. In a commitment to increase the voices of a diverse and inclusive fashion community, Christopher Kane collaborated with FACE on PLATFORM in 2021 – and are excited to play a part again this year for Edition 4.
