CODEY: THE AUDIO DRAMA WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY SUCHET BUDON

CODEY: THE AUDIO DRAMA is the 6 part story about a young lady called Codey Singh who is lost and pursued during an intense pandemic lockdown in the year 2040. It is inspired by my love of Anime and Manga and big Hollywood movies; CODEY also says a lot about the current COVID-19 lockdown and questions things like how it can affect work and food and relationships. CODEY has been created with a cast of actors in lockdown, who have themselves been in Hollywood movie productions such as STAR WARS, ALADIN and JURRASIC WORLD. We wanted to create an epic story with many characters and big scale beautiful locations, without the actors and crew having to break lockdown rules. My work on this is a passionate embrace, it involves writing the script for the shows, directing the wonderful cast of actors, sound design, music & soundtrack composition, mastering of the vocal recordings, checking the recordings with testers, designing and creating the posters for online promotion and social media.
