Collab is a financial clinic for the public to help reduce people’s financial stresses and focus on positives such as sick pay and retirement planning.
Most banks on the high street can be intimidating and embarrassing to people aged 35 to 50 who are living in a low-income neighbourhood. They are likely to hesitate to seek financial advice, and that can lead to severe physical and mental health issues.
Based on the interview with aged 35-50 people living in a low-income neighbourhood, I identified that the majority of people have a fear of financial failure. Not only that but also they had constant worries about money but did not know who to ask for advice.
My main focus is to help the bank and the community to work closely; therefore, I explored the Donut community cafe, Financial Paramedic Service and finally Collab.
