Coralation

My graduate collection 'Coralation' is inspired by living near the beach and highlights the issues that our oceans are facing. My colours reference the range of corals that transform from bright through to bleached by acidification. My garments are designed to flow around the body and I have interpreted spiral lines within my pattern cutting techniques that mimic the unique formation of waves and shells. I have focused on using a combination of different fabrics sourced as sustainably as possible whilst repurposing old fishing oilskins to create a striking silhouette
