Combining new processes with hand crafted woven structures; the designs in this collection demonstrate a confidence to explore new ways of working and experimenting with bold colours, textures and materials to create a unique and versatile style of work.
Inspired by the rich colours and abstract patterns present in nature, this project explores tropical environments through drawing and development. Designed for Autumn/Winter, the collection is made up of the dark tones and bright highlights present within tropical foliage. Considering scale, composition and drape, a range of fabric weights and surface finishes are explored. Working with hand-dyed natural fibres such as silk and wool, the luxurious fabrics produced are marketed for couture Menswear shirting and jacketing design.
