Without a Mask Just imagine for a second that you too were a flower or a plant. Would you look at your reflection and say my branches should be bigger, my leaves should be greener, or my petals should be brighter? Would you be a Daffodil but aim desperately to be a Rose? Or would you simply be, and trust that you serve whatever purpose you are here for. Evolution is a part of life.  I am not the same person I was a year ago, three years ago, or even yesterday. Embrace change, embrace growth, embrace life.  - By Dylema Engaging with and being inspired by people’s stories has always been a major part of life. I’m fascinated by human connections, questions around identity and their emotional expressions. Over time this became a focus in my practice, as taking portraits gave me access to different communities and people all around the world. I’m lucky enough to constantly learn and grow by being curious and getting to know different stories, different views and different backgrounds. Over the years, I developed a sense of empowerment through making others feel seen and heard. It’s just a brief moment to capture how incredibly special the people in front of my camera are, but within that moment lies the authenticity I’m always looking for. The pure self of someone, without any filters or masks.
