A playbook for a live-action role-playing game (LARP) that explores the concept of "lost futures"—futures that were once imagined but never materialised. Inspired by the philosophical ideas of hauntology from Jacques Derrida and Mark Fisher, the game invites participants to embody spectral characters representing these unrealised futures. Through a series of structured acts and playing cards, players interact and build narratives around their characters' origins and the worlds they come from, aiming to "haunt" the present with the possibilities of these lost futures. The game emphasises creativity, community, and reflection, encouraging participants to adapt the experience to their preferences and needs, allowing for flexibility in how it is played.
