SPYSCAPE in NYC commissioned FRAY Studio to for an ambitious projection mapping project as part of their new exhibition DRIVEN 007 x SPYSCAPE. We worked in conjunction with Curious Space, EON, Aston Martin and Empire to achieve this imposing installation.
We took models provided by Aston Martin and created simplified 3D models of the outer shells of the car. These models we used to create over scaled 3D printed cars the fit very snugly into a space as part of the projection. Using 12 concealed projectors and disguise media servers, we were able to cover every part of the cars that could be see by guests.
