Dynamic Bloom is based upon tropical flowers and plants, but with a twist! The project focuses on shape, colour, and line quality, making florals very abstract. Market focus was aimed towards interiors, such as curtains, bedding and wallpapers. Initial inspiration came from visits to Kew Gardens and local garden centres in order to gather imagery and first hand research. The project was focused on painterly and collage based drawings, including makr making textures and layering. Dynamic Bloom holds a combination of print techniques such as screen print, digital print and procion print, with additional accents.
