Virtual Open Studios introduces... Jason Bruges
Virtual Open Studios is a video series celebrating creative talents across our three sites: Hackney Downs Studios, Netil House and Old Paradise Yard.
Netil House’s long term resident Jason Bruges Studiohas become internationally renowned for producing innovative installations, interventions and groundbreaking works. This practice involves creating interactive spaces and surfaces that sit between the world of architecture, site specific installation art and interaction design.
Considered a pioneer of this hybrid in-between space, Jason has subsequently paved the way for a new genre of design studios, artists and designer-makers.
Part of an experienced team of architects, engineers, industrial and computational designers, as well as specialists in electronics and programming; we met with Beckie and Dhruv to take a closer look at their past and current projects.
