Why Fast&Slow design?
Everyone has their way of thinking, sometimes it can cause personal bias and prejudice which limit us from thinking freely and we miss new opportunities.
Fast & Slow design aims to tackle this issue.
What is Fast&Slow design?
Fast & Slow design is inspired by "Thinking, fast and slow" (Kahneman, 2012)
The book concludes ways of human thinking into two.
''Fast thinking exercise automatically and rapidly, which almost requires no attention and out of our control. Slow thinking demands our attention of the effortful mental activities, and complex calculation.'' (Daniel Kahneman, 2011, pp. 21-22)
How does it work?
Fast & Slow design tea party preserves the elements that trigger people's stereotype toward the everyday object but also added puzzling mechanism which guides its user switch their thinking from fast to slow by a series of interaction. Through a process of switching their thinking from fast to slow it might bring its users another angle to see their everyday life and find more ideas which they normally don't.
A teapot with three spouts must be shared by multiple cups and the tea will be at the same taste for everyone.

A teapot with a higher spout can't pour the tea normally but if users are patient and cautious enough, they will find out the spout can be spin into different angles. (Render shot image)
A teaspoon is too long to stir your cup but it's long enough to help others (Render shot image)
A cup and a mug cab be used on both sides. Which side are you gonna choose? (Render shot image)
