Feel Unique Eco Month

This was a project set as an interiview task. I developed a social media campaign concept for the online beauty retailer, Feel Unique.
This social media campaign concept would raise awareness of environmental issues related to the beauty industry, whilst promoting eco-friendly and sustainable beauty brands and giving tips and advice on how to be more green when it comes to buying and disposing of beauty products.
During the course of a month Feel Unique could promote brands sold on the website that promote green living, from using recycled packaging to sustainable factories. For each purchase made for one of these brands through Feel Unique, a donation would be made to The Ocean Clean Up Charity.
Feel Unique could partner with beauty bloggers who promote eco friendly and sustainable living. Each blogger could create a few short videos with tip and advice on living a more green lifestyle when it comes to beauty as well as sharing their favourite eco-friendly brands. These videos can then be shared across IGTV, Face- book and Youtube.

WHY
The global beauty industry creates 120 billion units of packaging every year. Many of these products use plastic packaging which cannot be recycled and factories which create the products often use harsh chemicals and resources which harm the environment.
As a large platform, which a huge following and retailer of many of these products, Feel Unique have a great opportunity to promote greener living when it comes to beauty.
With a youthful and impressionable audience, Feel Unique could really help to make a difference to these environmental issues and get people involved and excited about helping.
