Founding arkitaip

Founded by mother-daughter duo Michi and Lea Wieser, arkitaip was born out of the idea to provide women with a wardrobe which is made to last. Cultivated on the principles of laissez-faire elegance, respect for our planet, and functionality, their creations are designed for those who confidently embrace their uniqueness. Handcrafted in Europe - Michi hand makes their crochet range - and cut from the highest quality linen, a durable and eco-conscious material, their pieces are made in anticipation that they'll one day be passed on from generation to generation. With a strong focus on an ethical supply chain and the preservation of artisanal skills, the duo wants to foster the relationship between garment and wearer, opening up the dialogue about a more conscious consumption behaviour.
